রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম ৩০ রাত পর্যন্তও সামান্য আহারেই কাটিয়ে ছিলেন:
২৮৮. আনাস (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেন, আমাকে আল্লাহর পথে এমন ভয় প্রদর্শন করা হয়েছে, যখন আর কাউকে ভয় প্রদর্শন করা হয়নি। আমাকে আল্লাহর পথে এমনভাবে কষ্ট দেয়া হয়েছে, যা অন্য কাউকে দেয়া হয়নি। আমাদের ৩০টি রাত এমনভাবে অতিবাহিত হয়েছে, যখন বিলালের বগলের নিচে লুকিয়ে রাখা সামান্য খাদ্য ছাড়া আমার ও বিলালের আহারের মতো কিছুই ছিল না।[1]
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَقَدْ أُخِفْتُ فِي اللَّهِ وَمَا يَخَافُ أَحَدٌ ، وَلَقَدْ أُوذِيتُ فِي اللَّهِ وَمَا يُؤْذَى أَحَدٌ ، وَلَقَدْ أَتَتْ عَلَيَّ ثَلاثُونَ مِنْ بَيْنِ لَيْلَةٍ وَيَوْمٍ , وَمَا لِي وَلِبِلالٍ طَعَامٌ يَأْكُلُهُ ذُو كَبِدٍ , إِلا شَيْءٌ يُوَارِيهِ إِبِطُ بِلالٍ " .
Anas Radiyallahu 'Anhu says: "Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallam said: 'I have been threatened in the path at a time when no one else was threatened, and I have been harassed so much that no other person had experienced such harassments. I experienced thirty such nights and days wherein I and Bilaal Radiyallahu 'Anhu did not possess a thing, which a living creature
can eat, except for the little that was hidden under the armpit of Bilaal Radiyallahu 'Anhu"'.
This incident as the author has mentioned in his 'Jaami' took place once when going out of Makkah. This was not at the time of hijrah, as Bilaal Radiyallahu 'Anhu did not accompany Sayyidina Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallam at the time of hijrah. It took place at another time. The meaning of 'I had been threatened' is that in the early period when Sayyidina Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallam did not have many companions and followers, he was troubled and mocked at in the path of Allah. It is natural that when a person is alone, hardships are felt more than if one is part of a group
