পরিচ্ছেদঃ ৭৭: শরীয়তের নির্দেশাবলী লংঘন করতে দেখলে ক্রোধান্বিত হওয়া এবং আল্লাহর দ্বীনের সংরক্ষণ ও পৃষ্ঠপোষকতার বিবরণ
আল্লাহ তা’আলা বলেন,
﴿ ذَٰلِكَۖ وَمَن يُعَظِّمۡ حُرُمَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ فَهُوَ خَيۡرٞ لَّهُۥ عِندَ رَبِّهِۦۗ﴾ [الحج: ٣٠]
অর্থাৎ “কেউ আল্লাহর নিষিদ্ধ (স্থান বা) বিধানসমূহের সম্মান করলে তার প্রতিপালকের নিকট তার জন্য এটাই উত্তম।” (সূরা হাজ্জ্ব ৩০ আয়াত)
তিনি অন্য জায়গায় বলেন,
﴿ إِن تَنصُرُواْ ٱللَّهَ يَنصُرۡكُمۡ وَيُثَبِّتۡ أَقۡدَامَكُمۡ ٧ ﴾ [محمد: ٧]
অর্থাৎ “যদি তোমরা আল্লাহর (দ্বীনের) সাহায্য কর, তাহলে আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে সাহায্য করবেন, এবং তোমাদের পা দৃঢ়-প্রতিষ্ঠিত রাখবেন।” (সূরা মুহাম্মাদ ৭ আয়াত)
১/৬৫৪। আবূ মাসঊদ উক্বাহ ইবনে আমর বাদরী রাদিয়াল্লাহু ’আনহু বলেন, এক ব্যক্তি নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর নিকট এসে বলল, ’অমুক ব্যক্তি লম্বা নামায পড়ায়, তার জন্য আমি ফজরের নামায থেকে পিছনে থাকি।’ অতঃপর আমি নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লামকে কোন ভাষণে সেদিনকার থেকে বেশী রাগান্বিত হতে দেখিনি। তিনি বললেন, ’’হে লোক সকল! তোমাদের মধ্যে কিছু লোক লোকদের মধ্যে ঘৃণা সৃষ্টি করছে। সুতরাং তোমাদের মধ্যে যে কেউ লোকদের ইমামতি করবে, সে যেন সংক্ষেপে নামায পড়ায়। কারণ তার পিছনে বৃদ্ধ, শিশু এবং এমনও লোক রয়েছে যার কোন প্রয়োজন আছে।’’ (বুখারী ও মুসলিম) [1]
بَابُ الْغَضَبِ إِذَا انْتُهِكَتْ حُرُمَاتُ الشَّرْعِ وَالْاِنْتِصَارِ لِدِيْنَ اللهِ تَعَالٰى - (77)
وَعَن أَبي مَسعُودٍ عُقْبَةَ بنِ عَمْرٍو البَدْرِي رضي الله عنه، قَالَ: جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، فَقَالَ: إنِّي لأَتَأخَّرُ عَن صَلاةِ الصُّبْحِ مِنْ أَجْلِ فُلاَنٍ مِمَّا يُطِيلُ بِنَا ! فَمَا رَأيْتُ النَّبيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم غَضِبَ في مَوْعِظَةٍ قَطُّ أشَدَّ مِمَّا غَضِبَ يَوْمَئذٍ ؛ فَقَالَ: « يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ، إنَّ مِنْكُمْ مُنَفِّرِينَ، فَأيُّكُمْ أمَّ النَّاسَ فَلْيُوجِزْ ؛ فَإنَّ مِنْ وَرَائِهِ الكَبِيرَ وَالصَّغِيرَ وَذَا الحَاجَةِ ». متفقٌ عَلَيْهِ
(77) Chapter: Indignation against the Transgression of Divine Laws
Allah, the Exalted, says:
"And whoever honours the sacred things of Allah, then that is better for him with his Rubb...'' (22:30)
"If you help (in the Cause of) Allah, He will help you, and make your foothold firm.'' (47:7)
Abu Mas'ud 'Uqbah bin 'Amr Al-Badri (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
A man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: "I join the morning Salat late because of so-and-so who leads it and prolongs it." (Abu Mas'ud said): I have never seen the Prophet (ﷺ) so angry while giving a speech as he was on that day. He (ﷺ) said, "Some of you create hatred among the people against faith. Whoever leads Salat (the prayer), should make it brief because the congregation includes old men and youngsters and those who have some urgent work to do."

Commentary: First, there is allowance for a genuine complaint regarding some public inconvenience. Second, a believer is supposed to be passionately uncompromising on religious precepts. Third, the Imam should refrain from
prolonging Salat (prayer) and be considerate of the congregation standing behind him. But a brief recitation of the Qur'an or prayer does not imply a disregard of the example of the Prophet and the adjustment of different postures in Salat. In no way should it be a hasty and heedless Salat as unfortunately offered by a majority of men. They are scarcely regardful of the example of the Prophet in offering Salat. What a pity! Fourth, one may be exempted from offering congregational Salat for a valid religious excuse. fifth, the Imam should eschew an attitude which may foment people's aversion to worship.
