كِتَٰبٌ
এই কিতাব (এমন যে)

فُصِّلَتْ
বিশদভাবে বিবৃত

ءَايَٰتُهُۥ
তার আয়াতসমূহ
its Verses
its Verses
قُرْءَانًا
কুরআন
a Quran
a Quran
عَرَبِيًّا
আরবী (ভাষার)
(in) Arabic
(in) Arabic
لِّقَوْمٍ
(এমন) সম্প্রদায়ের জন্যে
for a people
for a people
يَعْلَمُونَ
(যারা) জ্ঞান রাখে
who know
who know
৪
بَشِيرًا
(এই কিতাব) সুসংবাদদাতা
A giver of glad tidings
A giver of glad tidings
وَنَذِيرًا
ও সতর্ককারী
and a warner;
and a warner;
فَأَعْرَضَ
কিন্তু বিমুখ হয়েছে
but turn away

أَكْثَرُهُمْ
তাদের অনেকেই
most of them

فَهُمْ
সুতরাং তারা

يَسْمَعُونَ
শুনে

وَقَالُوا۟
এবং তারা বলে

قُلُوبُنَا
"আমাদের অন্তরগুলো
"Our hearts
"Our hearts
فِىٓ
মধ্যে (আছে)
(are) in
(are) in
أَكِنَّةٍ
পর্দাসমূহের
coverings
coverings
مِّمَّا
তা থেকে যা
from what
from what
تَدْعُونَآ
আমাদেরকে তোমরা ডাকছো
you call us
you call us
إِلَيْهِ
তার দিকে
to it
to it
وَفِىٓ
এবং মধ্যে
and in
and in
ءَاذَانِنَا
আমাদের কানসমূহের
our ears
our ears
وَقْرٌ
বধিরতা (রয়েছে)
(is) deafness
(is) deafness
وَمِنۢ
মধ্য হতে
and between us
and between us
بَيْنِنَا
এবং আমাদের মাঝে
and between us
and between us
وَبَيْنِكَ
ও তোমার মাঝে
and between you
and between you
حِجَابٌ
পর্দা (রয়েছে)
(is) a screen
(is) a screen
فَٱعْمَلْ
তুমি তাই কাজ করো

إِنَّنَا
নিশ্চয়ই আমরা

عَٰمِلُونَ
কাজ করে যাচ্ছি"
(are) working"

قُلْ
(হে নাবী) বলো

إِنَّمَآ
"মূলতঃ
"Only
"Only
أَنَا۠
আমি
I am
I am
بَشَرٌ
একজন মানুষ
a man
a man
مِّثْلُكُمْ
তোমাদেরই মতো
like you
like you
يُوحَىٰٓ
ওহী করা হয়
it is revealed
it is revealed
إِلَىَّ
আমার প্রতি
to me
to me
أَنَّمَآ
এই যে
that
that
إِلَٰهُكُمْ
তোমাদের ইলাহ
your god
your god
إِلَٰهٌ
ইলাহ
(is) God
(is) God
وَٰحِدٌ
একই
One;
One;
فَٱسْتَقِيمُوٓا۟
সুতরাং তোমরা দৃঢ় হয়ে থাকো
so take a Straight Path
so take a Straight Path
إِلَيْهِ
তাঁর দিকে
to Him
to Him
وَٱسْتَغْفِرُوهُ
ও তোমরা তাঁর কাছে ক্ষমা চাও"
and ask His forgiveness"
and ask His forgiveness"
وَوَيْلٌ
এবং দুর্ভোগ (রয়েছে)
And woe

لِّلْمُشْرِكِينَ
মুশরিকদের জন্যে
to the polytheists

৭
ٱلَّذِينَ
যারা
Those who
Those who
لَا
না
(do) not
(do) not
يُؤْتُونَ
দেয়
give
give
ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ
যাকাত
the zakah
the zakah
وَهُم
এবং তারা
and they
and they
بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ
পরকালকে
in the Hereafter
in the Hereafter
هُمْ
তারা
they
they
كَٰفِرُونَ
অস্বীকারকারী
(are) disbelievers
(are) disbelievers

إِنَّ
নিশ্চয়ই
Indeed
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
যারা
those who
those who
ءَامَنُوا۟
ঈমান এনেছে
believe
believe
وَعَمِلُوا۟
ও কাজ করেছে
and do
and do
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
নেক
righteous deeds
righteous deeds
لَهُمْ
তাদের জন্যে
for them
for them
أَجْرٌ
পুরস্কার রয়েছে
(is) a reward
(is) a reward
غَيْرُ
ব্যতীত
never ending
never ending
مَمْنُونٍ
শেষ হওয়া (অফুরন্ত)
never ending

বলো

أَئِنَّكُمْ
"তোমরা নিশ্চিত কি
"Do you indeed
"Do you indeed
لَتَكْفُرُونَ
অস্বীকার করছো অবশ্যই
[surely] disbelieve
[surely] disbelieve
بِٱلَّذِى
(তাকে) যিনি
in the One Who
in the One Who
خَلَقَ
সৃষ্টি করেছেন
created
created
ٱلْأَرْضَ
পৃথিবীকে
the earth
the earth
فِى
মধ্যে
in
in
يَوْمَيْنِ
দু'দিনের
two periods
two periods
وَتَجْعَلُونَ
অথচ তোমরা দাঁড় করাচ্ছো
and you set up
and you set up
لَهُۥٓ
তাঁর জন্যে
with Him
with Him
أَندَادًا
সমকক্ষ (অন্যদেরকে)
rivals?
rivals?
ذَٰلِكَ
তিনিই
That
That
رَبُّ
রব
(is the) Lord
(is the) Lord
ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
বিশ্বজগতের"
(of) the worlds"
(of) the worlds"
১০
وَجَعَلَ
এবং তিনি স্হাপন করেছেন

فِيهَا
তার মধ্যে (অর্থাৎ পৃথিবীতে)

رَوَٰسِىَ
পর্বতমালা
firmly-set mountains

مِن
থেকে
above it

فَوْقِهَا
তার উপর

وَبَٰرَكَ
এবং কল্যাণ দিয়েছেন
and He blessed

فِيهَا
তার মধ্যে

وَقَدَّرَ
এবং নির্ধারণ করেছেন

فِيهَآ
তার মধ্যে

أَقْوَٰتَهَا
তার খাদ্য (অর্থাৎ খাদ্যসম্ভার)
its sustenance
its sustenance
فِىٓ
মধ্যে
in

أَرْبَعَةِ
চার
four
four
أَيَّامٍ
দিনের
periods
periods
سَوَآءً
সমানভাবে
equal
equal
لِّلسَّآئِلِينَ
প্রার্থীদের জন্যে
for those who ask
for those who ask

ثُمَّ
এরপর

ٱسْتَوَىٰٓ
মনোযোগ দিলেন
He directed (Himself)

إِلَى
দিকে

ٱلسَّمَآءِ
আকাশের

وَهِىَ
তখন তা (ছিলো)
while it (was)

دُخَانٌ
ধোঁয়া
smoke

فَقَالَ
অতঃপর (আল্লাহ) বললেন
and He said

لَهَا
তাকে
to it
to it
وَلِلْأَرْضِ
ও পৃথিবীকে
and to the earth
and to the earth
ٱئْتِيَا
"উভয়ে আসো
"Come both of you
"Come both of you
طَوْعًا
ইচ্ছায়
willingly
willingly
أَوْ
বা
or
or
كَرْهًا
অনিচ্ছায়"
unwillingly"
unwillingly"
قَالَتَآ
উভয়ে বললো
They both said

أَتَيْنَا
"আমরা আসলাম
"We come
"We come
طَآئِعِينَ
স্বেচ্ছায়"
willingly"
willingly"

فَقَضَىٰهُنَّ
অতঃপর তাদেরকে পরিণত করলেন
Then He completed them

(as) seven

سَمَٰوَاتٍ
আকাশে
heavens

فِى
মধ্যে
in
in
يَوْمَيْنِ
দু'দিনের
two periods

وَأَوْحَىٰ
এবং ওহী করলেন
and He revealed

فِى
মধ্যে
in
in
كُلِّ
প্রত্যেক
each
each
سَمَآءٍ
আকাশের
heaven
heaven
أَمْرَهَا
তাঁর বিধিবিধান
its affair
its affair
وَزَيَّنَّا
এবং আমরা সাজালাম
And We adorned
And We adorned
ٱلسَّمَآءَ
আকাশকে
the heaven
the heaven
ٱلدُّنْيَا
নীচের
the nearest
the nearest
بِمَصَٰبِيحَ
প্রদীপমালা দ্বারা
with lamps
with lamps
وَحِفْظًا
এবং সংরক্ষণ (করলাম)
and (to) guard
and (to) guard
ذَٰلِكَ
এটা
That
That
تَقْدِيرُ
ব্যবস্থাপনা
(is the) Decree
(is the) Decree
ٱلْعَزِيزِ
পরাক্রমশালীর
(of) the All-Mighty
(of) the All-Mighty
ٱلْعَلِيمِ
(যিনি) সবকিছু জানেন
the All-Knower
the All-Knower
১৩
فَإِنْ
এখন যদি

أَعْرَضُوا۟
তারা মুখ ফিরায়
they turn away

فَقُلْ
তবে বলো

أَنذَرْتُكُمْ
"তোমাদেরকে আমি সতর্ক করছি
"I have warned you

صَٰعِقَةً
বেহুশকারী শাস্তির
(of) a thunderbolt

مِّثْلَ
মতো
like

صَٰعِقَةِ
বেহুশকারী শাস্তি (এসেছিলো)
(the) thunderbolt

عَادٍ
আ'দের
(of) Aad
(of) Aad
وَثَمُودَ
ও সামূদের (উপর)"

১৪
إِذْ
যখন
When

جَآءَتْهُمُ
তাদের কাছে এসেছিলো
came to them

ٱلرُّسُلُ
রাসূলগণ
the Messengers
the Messengers
مِنۢ
মধ্য হতে
from before them
from before them
بَيْنِ
থেকে
from before them
from before them
أَيْدِيهِمْ
সামনে তাদের
from before them
from before them
وَمِنْ
ও থেকে
and from
and from
خَلْفِهِمْ
তাদের পিছন
behind them
behind them
أَلَّا
(এই বলে) যে না
(saying) Do not
(saying) Do not
تَعْبُدُوٓا۟
তোমরা ইবাদত করো
worship
worship
إِلَّا
ছাড়া
but
but
ٱللَّهَ
আল্লাহকে"

قَالُوا۟
তারা বলেছিলো

لَوْ
"যদি
"If
"If
شَآءَ
ইচ্ছে করতেন
(had) willed
(had) willed
رَبُّنَا
আমাদের রব
our Lord
our Lord
لَأَنزَلَ
অবশ্যই পাঠাতেন
surely, He (would have) sent down
surely, He (would have) sent down
مَلَٰٓئِكَةً
ফেরেশতাদেরকে
Angels
Angels
فَإِنَّا
সুতরাং নিশ্চয়ই আমরা
So indeed, we
So indeed, we
بِمَآ
দিয়ে ঐ বিষয় যা
in what
in what
أُرْسِلْتُم
তোমাদেরকে পাঠানো হয়েছে
you have been sent
you have been sent
بِهِۦ
প্রতি তার
with
with
كَٰفِرُونَ
তোমরা অস্বীকারকারী"
(are) disbelievers"
(are) disbelievers"
১৫
فَأَمَّا
আর অবস্থা (ছিলো)

عَادٌ
আ'দের (এমন যে)

فَٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟
পরে তারা অহংকার করলো
they were arrogant

فِى
মধ্যে

ٱلْأَرْضِ
পৃথিবীর
the earth
the earth
بِغَيْرِ
ব্যতীত
without
without
ٱلْحَقِّ
কোন অধিকার
[the] right
[the] right
وَقَالُوا۟
এবং তারা বললো

مَنْ
"(আর) কে
"Who
"Who
أَشَدُّ
অধিক শক্তিশালী
(is) mightier
(is) mightier
مِنَّا
আমাদের চেয়ে
than us
than us
قُوَّةً
শক্তিতে"
(in) strength?"
(in) strength?"
أَوَلَمْ
দেখে নি কি

يَرَوْا۟
তারা (ভেবে)
they see
they see
أَنَّ
যে
that
that
ٱللَّهَ
আল্লাহ

ٱلَّذِى
যিনি
the One Who
the One Who
خَلَقَهُمْ
তাদের সৃষ্টি করেছেন
created them
created them
هُوَ
তিনিই
He
He
أَشَدُّ
অধিক শক্তিশালী
(is) Mightier
(is) Mightier
مِنْهُمْ
তাদের চেয়ে
than them
than them
قُوَّةً
শক্তিতে
(in) strength?
(in) strength?
وَكَانُوا۟
এবং তারা ছিলো
But they used (to)
But they used (to)
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
আমাদের নিদর্শনগুলোকে
in Our Signs
in Our Signs
يَجْحَدُونَ
অস্বীকার করতো

১৬
فَأَرْسَلْنَا
আমরা তাই পাঠালাম
So We sent
So We sent
عَلَيْهِمْ
তাদের বিরুদ্ধে
upon them
upon them
رِيحًا
বাতাস
a wind
a wind
صَرْصَرًا
ঝড়ো
furious
furious
فِىٓ
মধ্যে
in
in
أَيَّامٍ
(কয়েক) দিনের
(the) days
(the) days
نَّحِسَاتٍ
দুর্ভোগের
(of) misfortune
(of) misfortune
لِّنُذِيقَهُمْ
তাদেরকে আমরা ভোগ করাই যেন
that We may make them taste
that We may make them taste
عَذَابَ
শাস্তি
(the) punishment
(the) punishment
ٱلْخِزْىِ
লাঞ্ছনার
(of) disgrace
(of) disgrace
فِى
মধ্যে
in
in
ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ
জীবনে
the life
the life
ٱلدُّنْيَا
পার্থিব
(of) the world
(of) the world
وَلَعَذَابُ
এবং অবশ্যই শাস্তি
And surely, (the) punishment
And surely, (the) punishment
ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ
পরকালের
(of) the Hereafter
(of) the Hereafter
أَخْزَىٰ
অধিক অপমানকর
(is) more disgracing
(is) more disgracing
وَهُمْ
এবং তাদের
and they
and they
لَا
না
will not be helped
will not be helped
يُنصَرُونَ
সাহায্য করা হবে
will not be helped
will not be helped
১৭
وَأَمَّا
আর অবস্থা (ছিলো)
And as for
And as for
ثَمُودُ
সামূদের (এমন যে)

فَهَدَيْنَٰهُمْ
তাদেরকে আমরা অতঃপর পথ নির্দেশ করেছিলাম

فَٱسْتَحَبُّوا۟
তারা কিন্তু পছন্দ করেছিলো

ٱلْعَمَىٰ
অন্ধতা
[the] blindness
[the] blindness
عَلَى
পরিবর্তে
over
over
ٱلْهُدَىٰ
সৎপথের
the guidance
the guidance
فَأَخَذَتْهُمْ
তখন তাদেরকে পাকড়াও করলো
so seized them

صَٰعِقَةُ
বেহুশকারী
a thunderbolt
a thunderbolt
ٱلْعَذَابِ
শাস্তি
(of) the punishment
(of) the punishment
ٱلْهُونِ
অপমানকর
humiliating
humiliating
بِمَا
এ কারণে যা
for what
for what
كَانُوا۟
তারা
they used (to)
they used (to)
يَكْسِبُونَ
কামাই করেছিলো
earn
earn
১৮
وَنَجَّيْنَا
এবং আমরা উদ্ধার করেছিলাম
And We saved
And We saved
ٱلَّذِينَ
(তাদেরকে) যারা
those who
those who
ءَامَنُوا۟
ঈমান এনেছিলো
believed
believed
وَكَانُوا۟
ও
and used (to)
and used (to)
يَتَّقُونَ
(গুমরাহী হ'তে) ভয় করেছিলো
fear (Allah)
fear (Allah)
১৯
وَيَوْمَ
এবং (স্মরণ করো) যেদিন
And (the) Day
And (the) Day
يُحْشَرُ
সমবেত করা হবে
will be gathered
will be gathered
أَعْدَآءُ
শত্রুদের
(the) enemies
(the) enemies
ٱللَّهِ
আল্লাহর
(of) Allah
(of) Allah
إِلَى
দিকে
to
to
ٱلنَّارِ
জাহান্নামের
the Fire
the Fire
فَهُمْ
অতঃপর তাদেরকে
then they
then they
يُوزَعُونَ
নানা দলে ভাগ করা হবে
will be assembled in rows
will be assembled in rows
২০
حَتَّىٰٓ
অবশেষে
Until
Until
إِذَا
যখন
when
when
مَا
যা
when
when
جَآءُوهَا
সেখানে তারা আসবে (সবাই)
they come to it
they come to it
شَهِدَ
সাক্ষ্য দিবে
(will) testify
(will) testify
عَلَيْهِمْ
তাদের বিরুদ্ধে
against them
against them
سَمْعُهُمْ
তাদের কান
their hearing
their hearing
وَأَبْصَٰرُهُمْ
ও তাদের চক্ষু
and their sight
and their sight
وَجُلُودُهُم
ও তাদের ত্বক
and their skins
and their skins
بِمَا
ঐ বিষয়ে যা
(as) to what
(as) to what
كَانُوا۟
তারা
they used (to)
they used (to)
يَعْمَلُونَ
কাজ করেছিলো
do
do
দেখানো হচ্ছেঃ ১ থেকে ২০ পর্যন্ত, সর্বমোট ৫৪ টি রেকর্ডের মধ্য থেকে
