পরিচ্ছেদঃ ৩০২ : মৃত্যের জন্য মাতম করে কাঁদা, গাল চাপড়ানো, বুকের কাপড় ছিঁড়া, চুল ছেঁড়া, মাথা নেড়া করা ও সর্বনাশ ও ধ্বংস ডাকা নিষিদ্ধ
৪/১৬৬৯। মুগীরাহ ইবনে শু’বাহ রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহু হতে বর্ণিত, তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে আমি বলতে শুনেছি যে, ’’যার জন্য মাতম করে কান্না করা হয়, তাকে কিয়ামতের দিনে তার জন্য মাতম করার দরুন শাস্তি দেওয়া হবে।’’ (বুখারী, মুসলিম) [1]
(302) بَابُ تَحْرِيْمِ النِّيَاحَةِ عَلَى الْمَيِّتِ، وَلَطْمِ الْخَدِّ وَشَقِّ الْجَيْبِ وَنَتْفِ الشَّعْرِ وَحَلْقِهِ، وَالدُّعَاءِ بِالْوَيْلِ وَالثُّبُوْرِ
وَعَنِ المُغِيرَةِ بنِ شُعبَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ : «مَنْ نِيحَ عَلَيْهِ، فَإِنَّهُ يُعَذَّبُ بِمَا نِيحَ عَلَيهِ يَومَ القِيَامَةِ» متفق عليه
(302) Chapter: Prohibition of Bewailing the Deceased
Al-Mughirah bin Shu'bah (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying, "He who allows (others) to wail over his death, will be punished for it on the Day of Resurrection."
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
Commentary: The torment mentioned in this Hadith will be inflicted on the Day of Judgement upon that person who willed his heirs to wail on his death or who had brought up his family in such a manner that they were apt to wail about the death of their close relatives.
