পরিচ্ছেদঃ ২৬০ : মিথ্যা বলা হারাম
৪/১৫৫৩। ইবনে উমার রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহু হতে বর্ণিত, তিনি বলেন, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেন, ’’সবচেয়ে নিকৃষ্ট মিথ্যা হল, মানুষ আপন চক্ষুকে এমন কিছু দেখায়, যা সে দেখেনি।’’ [অর্থাৎ সে যা দেখেনি সে সম্পর্কে মিথ্যা করে বলে, ’আমি দেখেছি।’] (বুখারী) [1]
(260) بَابُ تَحْرِيْمِ الْكَذِبِ
وَعَنِ ابنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا، قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم: «أَفْرَى الفِرَى أَنْ يُرِيَ الرَّجُلُ عَيْنَيْهِ مَا لَمْ تَرَيَا» . رواه البخاري
(260) Chapter: Condemnation and Prohibition of Falsehood
Ibn 'Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) reported:
The Prophet (ﷺ) as saying: "The worst of lies is to pretend to have seen something which he has not seen."
[Al- Bukhari].
Commentary: This Hadith strongly condemns falsehood, whether it relates to a dream or to the real world. It is a great sin in both cases.
