পরিচ্ছেদঃ ১৩১: সালাম দেওয়ার গুরুত্ব ও তা ব্যাপকভাবে প্রচার করার নির্দেশ
৫/৮৫৩। আবূ ইউসুফ আব্দুল্লাহ ইবনে সালাম রাদিয়াল্লাহু ’আনহু হতে বর্ণিত, তিনি বলেন, আমি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লামকে বলতে শুনেছি, ’’হে লোক সকল! তোমরা সালাম প্রচার কর, (ক্ষুধার্তকে) অন্নদান কর, আত্মীয়তার বন্ধন অটুট রাখ এবং লোকে যখন (রাতে) ঘুমিয়ে থাকে, তখন তোমরা নামায পড়। তাহলে তোমরা নিরাপদে ও নির্বিঘ্নে জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করবে।’’ (তিরমিযী হাসান সহীহ) [1]
(131) بَابُ فَضْلِ السَّلَامِ وَالْأَمْرِ بِإِفْشَائِهِ
وَعَنْ أَبي يُوسُفَ عَبدِ اللهِ بنِ سَلاَمٍ رضي الله عنه، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صلى الله عليه ، يَقُولُ: « يَا أيُّهَا النَّاسُ، أَفْشُوا السَّلاَمَ، وَأطْعِمُوا الطَّعَامَ، وَصِلُوا الأرْحَامَ، وَصَلُّوا والنَّاسُ نِيَامٌ، تَدْخُلُوا الجَنَّةَ بِسَلاَم ». رواه الترمذي، وقال: حديث حسن صحيح »
(131) Chapter: The Excellence of Promoting Greetings
'Abdullah bin Salam (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying, "O people, exchange greetings of peace (i.e., say: As-Salamu 'Alaikum to one another), feed people, strengthen the ties of kinship, and be in prayer when others are asleep, you will enter Jannah in peace."
[At- Tirmidhi].
Commentary: All these habits and practices are indispensable to a believer because each one of them leads to Jannah with the first people to enter it without being punished in Hell first.
