২৩। আবূ মালেক আল-হারেস ইবনু আসেম আল-আশ’আরী রাদিয়াল্লাহু ’আনহু হতে বর্ণিত হয়েছে- রাসূলুল্লাহ্ (সাল্লাল্লাহু ’আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম) বলেছেন:
"পবিত্রতা ঈমানের অর্ধেক; আল-হামদুলিল্লাহ্ (সমস্ত প্রশংসা কেবলমাত্র আল্লাহর জন্য) [বললে] পাল্লা পরিপূর্ণ করে দেয় এবং “সুবহানাল্লাহ ওয়াল-হামদুলিল্লাহ্ (আল্লাহ্ কতই না পবিত্র! এবং সমস্ত প্রশংসা কেবলমাত্র আল্লাহর জন্য) উভয়ে অথবা এর একটি আসমান ও যমীনের মাঝখান পূর্ণ করে দেয়। নামায হচ্ছে আলো, সাদকা হচ্ছে প্রমাণ, সবর উজ্জ্বল আলো, আর কুরআন তোমার পক্ষে অথবা বিপক্ষে প্রমাণ। প্রত্যেক ব্যক্তি আপন আত্মার ক্রয়-বিক্রয়ের মাধ্যমে সকাল শুরু করে- আর তা হয় তাকে মুক্ত করে দেয় অথবা তাকে ধ্বংস করে দেয়।"

عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه و سلم "الطَّهُورُ شَطْرُ الْإِيمَانِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ تَمْلَأُ الْمِيزَانَ، وَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ تَمْلَآنِ -أَوْ: تَمْلَأُ- مَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ، وَالصَّلَاةُ نُورٌ، وَالصَّدَقَةُ بُرْهَانٌ، وَالصَّبْرُ ضِيَاءٌ، وَالْقُرْآنُ حُجَّةٌ لَك أَوْ عَلَيْك، كُلُّ النَّاسِ يَغْدُو، فَبَائِعٌ نَفْسَهُ فَمُعْتِقُهَا أَوْ مُوبِقُهَا". On the authority of Abu Malik al-Harith bin Asim al-Asharee (may Allah be pleased with him) who said:
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Purity is half of iman (faith). ‘Al-hamdu lillah (praise be to Allah)’ fills the scales, and ‘subhan-Allah (how far is Allah from every imperfection) and ‘Al-hamdulillah (praise be to Allah)’ fill that which is between heaven and earth. And the salah (prayer) is a light, and charity is a proof, and patience is illumination, and the Qur’an is a proof either for you or against you. Every person starts his day as a vendor of his soul, either freeing it or causing its ruin.” [Muslim]
