পরিচ্ছেদঃ ২০৪: নফল (ও সুন্নত নামায) ঘরে পড়া উত্তম। তা সুন্নতে মুআক্কাদাহ হোক কিংবা অন্য কিছু। সুন্নত বা নফলের জন্য, যে স্থানে ফরয নামায পড়া হয়েছে সে স্থান পরিবর্তন করা বা ফরয ও তার মধ্যে কোনো কথা দ্বারা ব্যবধান সৃষ্টি করার নির্দেশ
১/১১৩৫। যায়েদ ইবনে সাবেত রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহু হতে বর্ণিত, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেন, “হে লোক সকল! তোমরা নিজ নিজ বাড়িতে নামায পড়। কারণ, ফরয নামায ব্যতীত পুরুষের উত্তম নামায হল, যা সে নিজ বাড়িতে পড়ে থাকে।” (বুখারী ও মুসলিম) [1]
(204) بَابُ اِسْتِحْبَابِ جَعْلِ النَّوَافِلِ فِي الْبَيْتِ سَوَاءً الرَّاتِبَةُ وَغَيْرُهَا وَالْأَمْرِ بِالتَّحْوِيْلِ لِلنَّافِلَةِ مِنْ مَّوْضَعِ الْفَرِيْضَةِ أَوِ الْفَصْلِ بَيْنَهُمَا بِكَلَامٍ
عَن زَيدِ بنِ ثَابِتٍ رضي الله عنه : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ: «صَلُّوا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ، فَإنَّ أفْضَلَ الصَّلاَةِ صَلاَةُ المَرْءِ فِي بَيْتِهِ إِلاَّ المَكْتُوبَةَ». متفقٌ عَلَيْهِ
(204) Chapter: Desirability of offering Nawfil (Voluntary or Optional) Prayers at Home
Zaid bin Thabit (May Allah be pleased with him)reported:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "O people! perform your (voluntary) Salat (prayers) in your homes because the best Salat of a man is the one he performs at home, except the obligatory Salat."
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
Commentary: This Hadith tells us that the Nawafil and Sunnah prayers should be performed at home. It goes without saying that all the Fard constituents of every Salat are to be performed in the mosque (Masjid) in congregation. The order to perform the Nawafil prayers at home shows its merits. Firstly, it saves a person from showing off, and secondly, houses are blessed due to them.
